As a Security Officer - Access Control in Detroit, MI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced tech and communications location where you will support access control and security-related operations. You will greet and screen visitors, verify credentials, manage entry points, and coordinate with site teams to help maintain smooth traffic flow. You will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, stay highly visible to help reduce incidents, document activity, and deliver professional customer service through clear communication and teamwork.

What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
Control access at entrances by verifying identification, issuing temporary badges, managing visitor check-in and/or check-out, and directing guests to the proper areas.
Monitor entry points, alarms and/or video systems, report irregular activity, and help to deter unauthorized access or policy violations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as required.
Complete shift documentation such as access logs, incident reports and key control records, and communicate relevant updates during post handoff.
Minimum Requirements:
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
