Located within the Ross School of Business, the Sanger Leadership Center serves as an important bridge between student learners and thought leaders in both research and practice. The Center runs 120+ leadership development sessions and has over 10,000 student interactions annually. Its mission is to accelerate leader development through bold ideas, transformative experiences, and inclusive communities.

- Partner with center leadership to set and execute strategic and operational priorities for leadership education programming, team culture, and overall portfolio growth.
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring effective coordination of work, use of technology, and continuous improvement of programs, tools, and processes.
- Lead, supervise, develop, and evaluate staff (program managers, specialists, coordinators, and temporary staff), fostering a collaborative, high-performing, and innovative team culture.
- Analyze program portfolio health and drive strategy for new and existing programs, including design, goals, learning outcomes, staffing, and resource needs.
- Provide oversight for data, analytics, marketing, communications, and brand strategy to support program effectiveness and strategic partnerships.
- Lead development and implementation of leadership coaching initiatives across programs, including coach selection, onboarding, and integration into student experiences.
- Establish and analyze metrics related to participation, academic success, engagement, retention, and career outcomes to support data-driven decision making.
- Manage and monitor program budgets and resources to ensure sustainability and alignment with strategic priorities.
- Design and facilitate leadership development programming and presentations for students and alumni, regularly delivering sessions and workshops throughout the academic year.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with campus partners, faculty, donors, corporate and external partners; represent the center and advocate for inclusive, high-impact student experiences.
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years in related positions in a complex organization, with experience in higher education. Experience in the fields of leadership
development, organizational development, learning and development, or talent management is strongly preferred. - Supervisory experience is required, with a demonstrated focus on people and team development and professional growth.
- Experience with long-range planning to assess the environment and competition, anticipate future business needs, and develop creative ideas to achieve student learning and development objectives.
- Experience in designing curricula and delivering frequent developmental or academic workshops, courses, presentations, and communications to various constituents, with demonstrated success in presenting to college students and senior-level leaders.
- Experience serving as a coach and/or partnering with ICF-certified coaches, applying International Coaching Federation (ICF) competencies and ethical standards in individual and group development contexts.
- Must have program, project, or event management experience to include planning, implementation, evaluation and continuous improvement as well as experience managing multiple projects with tight deadlines.
- Experience designing evaluations, performing data analysis, and synthesizing and visualizing data to track learning outcomes and drive strategic decision-making.
- Experience in fiscal management and in preparing and monitoring budgets.
- Proficiency in Google docs, sheets and slides and Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint plus other database, email and calendar-keeping software and technologies is required.
The posting range for this position is $74,400 to $96,200. This posting range reflects multiple factors involved in determining compensation, such as skills, experience, training, certifications, and other organizational needs. At Ross, it is not common for new hires to be offered a salary at the upper end of the range. Compensation decisions are based on the details of each situation.
