In this position...
In this role you will oversee General Stores operations at Dearborn Engine and Woodhaven Forge plants and will utilize CPARS and Maximo SFR Systems to manage Industrial Material Inventory to support plant needs.
What you'll do...
Position Duties - General Stores / Industrial Material (IM) Management
Oversee General Stores operations at Dearborn Engine and Woodhaven Forge plants
Supervise hourly crib attendants
Become proficient in IM inventory systems
Maximo SFR
CPARS
Conduct daily Safety audits and confirm concerns are readily addressed and requirements are met
Support plant machining and assembly teams
Support all Industrial Material cost reduction initiatives
Meet year-end inventory targets
100% compliance to all Finance/MCRP guidelines for inventory control
Support plant stock transfers
Drive timely and accurate cycle counting activities
Drive processes to maintain accurate record inventory
Confirm work areas adhere to 5S standards of workplace organization
Adhere to Time & Data Management to promote, support, and coach a continuous improvement mindset and activities in the team.
Communicate as required to perform job functions
Respect and encourage respect of all team members by my actions
Verify and maintain documentation (OJT, Versatility, and Mandatory Training)
Create a Zero Tolerance environment and reaffirm team members respect each other
Own working together, modeling the Ford values and expected behaviors
Ensure Work Group members are appropriately recognized for the accomplishments
Ensure basic administrative activities are completed, as required
You'll have...
High School Diploma or GED
1+ years' experience working in a manufacturing environment
Able to work effectively with both hourly/salary team members along with suppliers
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong Microsoft Office knowledge Even better, you may have...
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Material Planning and Logistics, Business, Engineering, Manufacturing or Packaging
Proven track record of successfully interacting with plant hourly and salaried personnel, logistic carriers, and production suppliers
Experience working in a manufacturing environment
One or more years' experience with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint)
Prior experience utilizing ERP systems

This position is a salary grade 6-7 - from $72,480 -$141,360
