Description
These individuals will be working in the Product testing and validation lab at the Science and Technology Center.
They will be given test procedures focused on testing glass samples in a lab environment for optical characterization, chemical durability, over all durability, destructive testing along with lab specific instruments.
After the test is completed this person must submit a report with the findings from the experiment.
This person also must be able to communicate how they are moving along with their tests and if they will be done on time or if they will need help to complete everything by the given completion date. (unable to wait to the last minute to communicate they they need help hitting the completion date required / need to be able to run a few tests, see how long it takes them, then times the number of tests still left to do by working hours until completion date to see if they are able to finish on their own).
Mon - Fri, 8am - 5pm (chance if the person needs a different schedule they could do 7am-4pm or 9am-6pm after training is completed).
As of now might only be a 6 month project OR it can grow into a long term position (contract or direct hire)

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
