- Associates degree relevant to maintenance, electrical or building systems or a related area or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Current Michigan Master Electrician License.
- Five years’ experience in facility maintenance.
- Computer literacy including email usage, MS Excel and Word and computerized maintenance management systems.
- Experience with plumbing piping and systems.
- Extensive experience in the supervision of bargaining unit employees.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with others.
- Working knowledge of BMS, Controls, PLC’s Square D .
- Knowledge of medium voltage switchgear and radial distribution systems.
- A valid driver’s license and driving record acceptable to the University by the University’s insurance carrier.
