This position requires picking up trash that has blown around the landfill. This job requires climbing a very steep hill. You climb up to your area, fill an average of 10 bags with trash, and carry them down at the end of your shift. Bags weigh 30-40 pounds each and everything is picked up by hand. You must be willing to work outdoors in all elements including freezing temperatures, hot temperatures, rain, snow, sleet, fog, sunshine, humidity, wind, etc. This job is very physical and requires walking, bending, and lifting. The work environment is a trash landfill and smells like a trash landfill.
This position is contract to hire with great benefits after permanent hire. Work hours are 7am-3pm Monday-Friday.
$18.00/hr.
