Production Supervisor - Steep Slope

Position Overview:

This role is a key middle management leadership position that impacts Operational Excellence, Customer Satisfaction and Risk Management.  Manage projects to a level that distinguishes Summit Point Roofing (SPR) as a preferred contractor of choice, while not jeopardizing SPR values, budget, schedule, workmanship standards, and safety.  

Core Responsibilities:

• Plans all phases of the construction lifecycle from initiation to completion aligning with project scope.

• Meets all regulations including safety.

• In collaboration with the Production Coordinator, orders all necessary supplies, tools and equipment as required. 

• Make sure all projects as assigned are aligned with agreed-upon plans.

• Manages all projects as assigned so they remain on schedule, on budget, and to required specifications.

• Secures and manages specialists, trades, sub-contractors, as required, and oversees their work.

• Communicates well with customers, supervisor, and sub-contractors to deliver project progress reports.

• Adheres to the budget, timeline and quality control plans.

• Uses and completes software apps to track progress and document project progression.

• Organize, lead and participate in site meetings (pre, interims and post) as required given job scale and complexity.

• Compliance with all SPR policies and procedures along with regulatory and safety requirements.

• Safe and responsible operation of vehicles and equipment.

• Maintain a neat and tidy site as well as working to achieve a satisfied customer.

• Conduct final project production checklist walkthrough to ensure customer satisfaction and document/schedule any deficiencies prior to project completion. 

Requirements:

• Builds strong relationships with clients, contractors, and construction workers.

• Potentially collaborate with or supervise other site supervisors or assistants, if scale of project justifies.

• Excels at organization, time-management, and problem solving.

• Spanish speaking is preferred.

• Clean driving record required. 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in construction science or management, engineering, architecture, business administration, project management, construction project management certification OR equivalent roofing crew leadership experience.

• Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 30-Hr Outreach Training is an asset, but completion can be company sponsored upon hire.  

• Three years of construction experience (preferably, hands on roofing experience). 

• Hi-lo Skytrack experience
