Primary responsibilities for Manufacturing Assemblers include:
· Clip and secure lenses in baskets to begin the coating process
· Operate coating machines, load chemicals, and load/unload lenses
· Inspect lenses for optical and cosmetic accuracy
· Use blocking equipment to secure blocks to lenses and apply protective tape
· Operate machines used to fine and polish lenses
· Hand wash, dry, and perform a cosmetic check on lenses
· Remove blocks and tape from lenses
· Insert lenses into frames and check alignment and fit
· Operate edging machines to cut lenses to proper size
· Prepare uncut lenses for edging by marking alignment points
· Tint lenses to the correct shade
· Inspect lenses and frames to ensure they meet quality standards

Pay Details: $15.90 per hour
