Job Description
We have an immediate opening for an experienced Pipefitter with an automation company.
Day Shift - Start Time, 6AM.
Qualifications
Proficient at laying out header and running SCH40 black/galvanized pipe.
Proficient at hand tube bending.
Proficient at laying out header and sweating L series copper.
Proficient at laying out header and running SCH80 PVC pipe.
Reads blueprints to interpret and implement pneumatic and hydraulic diagrams to assemble and pipe mechanical assemblies. Maintains application skills for J.I.C. pipefitting specifications.
Sets working pressures, valve sequencing, hydraulic pressures, etc. Familiar with component functions (hydraulic and pneumatic valves, check valves, ball valves, FRL's, etc.)
Makes sure that all changes are marked in drawings.
Understands and follows safety & environmental regulations and identifies safety/environmental concerns.
Adheres to the Quality System and participates in continuous improvement.
Regular and predictable attendance.
Has own tools and rolling toolbox.
