Hourly rate - $19.23 per hour
Summary:
CAD responsibilities include drafting detailed construction drawings, plan drawings, and design documents used in planning and construction of roofing projects. Essential duties and responsibilities, as defined below, will be necessary to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and validity of a populated computer database.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Construct CAD drawings from rough field sketches and other engineering data received.
- Draft detailed drawings of structures and installations, for new construction and field surveys.
- Prepare Construction/Design drawings.
- Perform basic mathematic calculations.
- Enter data into computer databases.
- Organize, compile and track large amounts of paperwork and electronic files.
- Perform quality assurance on data after processing.
Qualifications:
- Must be detail-oriented and a self-starter with an ability to learn fast.
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
- Capacity to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously.
- Must have working knowledge of AutoCAD 2007 or higher with experience using:
- X-Refs
- Use of Blocks
- Sheet Sets
- Sheet Views
- Adding View Labels
- Adding Callout Data
- Creating and Using Fields
- Plotting using custom Page Setups and Plot Styles
- Must have working knowledge of Microsoft office suite.
