HTC Global Services, Inc. has an opening for the position of Jr. Developer (Ref# JRD223SL).
Work Location: Troy, MI and relocation required to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.
Job Duties: Under direct supervision, develop and integrate IT solutions by using appropriate development methodologies and standards for QA (quality assurance) testing and development, specializing in both manual and automated testing methodologies. Identify the client requirements by detailed discussions/meetings with clients, functional users, functional/technical consultants, and product owners to collect requirement specifications, metrics and key performance indicators. Review system capabilities, workflow and scheduling limitations to determine if requested change is possible within existing system. Analyze complex business problems in the existing system by collaborating with end users and peer developers. Prepare diagrams that meet client requirements with clear blocks explaining functionality of each part. Create Node.js program to implement the functionality and deploy it to AWS platform. Discuss and design in-detail technical specifications for AAT (automated acceptance test) to be performed by development team. Review design ideas and prototypes with product owners and development teams. Provide innovative solutions to complex problems in the executions. Review code and design documents. Support testing efforts for Guidewire PolicyCenter and BillingCenter implementations. Write automation scripts to automate application testing. Write programs to create test tools and services. Enhance existing programs as per added requirements. Develop and add Gitlab pipeline jobs and schedules. Fix daily test execution failures and defects. Use of Selenium, SoapUI, JIRA, Java, JavaScript, Node.js, HTML, Guidewire PolicyCenter, Jenkins, GIT, Maven, AWS, and Windows.
Requirements: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field. Plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation including Quality Engineer, Test Engineer, or related experience. Position requires 2 years of experience with SoapUI, JIRA, and Guidewire PolicyCenter. 40hrs/week.
