We are looking to add a professional and self-motivated quality inspector to our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience using inspection tools and equipment and have a thorough understanding of reading drawings. We work in a safe, clean, well-lit, and air-conditioned manufacturing facility conveniently located just off Hall Rd and I-94.
Responsibilities
· Use precision measuring instruments and equipment to verify machined and fabricated parts
· Productively discuss discrepancies with machinists
· Ensure all parts meet the highest quality standards prior to shipping
· Complete inspection reports
· Maintain records of instrument calibration
· Identify problems and develop solutions to improve quality
· Maintain equipment and keeping a clean, organized work area
· Experience performing inspections using a CMM
· Proficiency with GD&T
· Manufacturing experience
· Dependable and trustworthy
· Self-motivated and able to remain productive during down time
· Effective written and verbal communication
· Basic computer literacy and experience using Microsoft Word and Excel
· Problem solving abilities
· Attention to detail
· Ability to work as part of a team
· Own necessary tools
· Any machining ability (lathe, Bridgeport, CNC mill, grinding) is a plus
· High School Diploma / GED
· Must be a US Citizen
