Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Test Technician to join our team in testing a wide range of surgical instruments. This position involves conducting mechanical and electrical tests, interpreting test requests, setting up tests, building fixtures as needed, running and supporting each test, and documenting the test results. These tests can be for new products, prototypes, or existing products in the market.
Responsibilities
Conduct mechanical and electrical tests on medical devices.
Interpret test requests and set up appropriate tests.
Build fixtures necessary for testing.
Run and support tests, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
Document test results and prepare technical reports.
Provide technical support to engineers and scientists during product testing.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 2 years experience in product testing.
Proficiency in reading blueprints and CAD designs.
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
Experience with test equipment and troubleshooting.

Work Environment
This role requires working onsite at the test lab with a schedule from 10pm to 6:30am, starting on Sunday night and finishing on Friday morning. The position offers the opportunity to gain experience in testing prototypes and current medical devices, with potential career progression into engineering roles.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.80 - $25.80/hr.
