- Coordinator will be expected to cross train to all areas of cell therapy
- Provide quality care to patients, families, and donors preparing for bone marrow transplant.
- Work as a nurse member of a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
- Provide functional supervision of clerical staff.
- Provide clinical direction and support for the Bone Marrow Transplant team through consultation with nursing and other team members.
- Provide continuity and coordination for the Bone Marrow Transplant population in the inpatient and ambulatory care settings.
- Coordinate and participate in the development and implementation of patient and nursing education programs and materials relating to Bone Marrow Transplant.
- Work with all cell therapy patients in an ambulatory care setting.

Requirements of the Commission on Cancer Certification must be met within the triannual certification window proportionate to hire or transfer to the oncology area, details provided by leadership.

- Current nursing license to practice nursing in the State of Michigan.
- Bachelor?s degree in Nursing OR Associates degree/diploma in Nursing along with a Master?s degree in Nursing
- Two (2) years of Bone Marrow Transplant and/or Acute Leukemia (Heme/Onc) RN experience within the last five (5) years.
