The Role
GM is hiring a Group Product Manager - Engagement Platforms. This leadership role sits at the intersection of customer engagement strategy and technology, building the tools that our internal teams use to create compelling customer experiences though various product and marketing engagements.
You'll manage the scope and teams responsible for designing and implementing platforms focused on activation of our product and marketing communications via email, push, media, mobile, vehicle head-unit and more.
You will leverage best-practices in product development, agile scrum-based delivery, and strategic road-mapping to deliver modern engagement tools with an eye towards a data-driven ecosystem across the customer lifecycle. You'll work with cross functional teams like engineering, marketing, privacy, and loyalty to create cohesive product capability roadmaps. You'll work in partnership with the operations leaders to align on vision, strategy, and priority.
This role requires self-starter, with deep expertise in the marketing technology with a proven track record designing and building multimodal engagement platforms that combine marketing technology tools (Adobe's Experience Platform, SalesForce Marketing Cloud, etc.) with a deep understanding of last mile integrations to downstream systems via middleware platforms and APIs.
What You'll Do
· Responsible for MarTech Product from solution design to implementation and adoption
· Lead and mentor a team of Product Managers and Analysts
· Partner with marketing leaders to develop and communicate product roadmaps
· Partner with internal / external delivery teams to design and delivery platform features
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
7+ years of hands-on experience with campaign management, marketing communication platforms like Adobe, Salesforce, Push, SMS as a business architect or product manager is required
In-depth knowledge of modern campaign marketing software, ESP, SMS, and lead tools, along with a solid understanding of Marketing Technology (MarTech), Advertising Technology (AdTech), and APIs / middleware integrations
Experience architecting, designing, and deploying complex technology, with an eye towards automation, simplicity, and rationalization
Experience and comfort managing direct and indirect teams; scrums, agile cross functional teams, vendor stakeholders
Proven experience succeeding in complex, matrix and cross-functional projects
Ability to personally deliver large scale initiatives in a fast-paced environment with high levels of complexity and ambiguity
Innovative thinking to approach challenges from multiple fronts, and ability to think outside the box
Experience setting, managing, and reporting against multi-year plans, budgets, critical metrics, breakthroughs, roadmaps, etc.
Ability to inspire, influence and collaborate across a wide range of constituents across functions and organizational levels
Demonstrated organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent written, presentation and oral communication skills
Willing to take action and enjoy working in a fast paced, dynamic environment

Leads and collaborates with a large set of stakeholders to identify, build, and test customer value propositions.
Lead product managers in enabling them to drive the product strategy and roadmaps adhering to the Objectives and Key results
Communicate complex subjects in a simple and straightforward way, and is a skilled problem solver that utilizes data and experience to identify problems and solutions
Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap based on customer needs and market trends.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to ensure product goals and priorities alignment.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market opportunities and potential threats.
Develop and manage product requirements, including user stories, use cases, and functional specifications.
Create and maintain product backlogs and prioritize features and enhancements based on business value, customer needs, and technical feasibility.
Work closely with UX/UI designers to develop intuitive and compelling user interfaces.
Define and track key metrics using OKRs and KPIs to measure product success and inform future decisions.
Communicate product updates, progress, and plans to stakeholders across the organization, including executives, customers, and partners.
Manage product launches, including developing go-to-market strategies and coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches.
Conduct post-launch analysis to evaluate product performance and identify areas for improvement.
Continuously iterate and improve the product based on user feedback, market trends, and business goals.
Communicate changes of scope and delivery items to impacted teams and delivery of core products to be used across multiple LOBs seamlessly.
Compensation: The compensation information is a good faith estimate only. It is based on what a successful applicant might be paid in accordance with applicable state laws. The compensation may not be representative for positions located outside of the California Bay Area.
The salary range for this role is $134,700 to $245,000. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.

Company Vehicle: Upon successful completion of a motor vehicle report review, you will be eligible to participate in a company vehicle evaluation program, through which you will be assigned a General Motors vehicle to drive and evaluate. Note: program participants are required to purchase/lease a qualifying GM vehicle every four years unless one of a limited number of exceptions applies.
