Domtar, Menominee Operations is seeking a talented individual to join our team and will be accepting applications for an E&I Technician. This will be a Shift E&I (12-hour rotating shift) position. Key Responsibilities: * Maintain and troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation equipment in support of all assets and equipment. * Performing preventive and predictive maintenance tasks to improve mill uptime/run ability, assemble and install new machinery and equipment and other duties as assigned. * Ability to read and interpret machine drawings. * Proficient in DCS troubleshooting. * Drive hardware and communications equipment troubleshooting and board level replacement. * Calibration and maintenance of all tagged field instrumentation. * Be able to troubleshoot field devices using technology such as Delta-V, Allen-Bradley PLC's. Required Qualifications: * High School Diploma or GED equivalent. * A valid journeyman card, indicating successful completion of an accredited apprenticeship program. A journeyman's certification is preferred but we will consider equivalent experience without certifications. * A positive work attitude and a keen sense of responsibility, particularly with respect to safety and environmental policies and procedures. * Four (4) years of experience in a related field and three (3) to five (5) years in an industrial environment. * Effective communication skills both verbal and written. * Solid computer skills and experience with electronic work orders. * Self-directed. * Excellent trouble shooting/problem solving skills. Must be willing to meet the following requirements: * Available to work varying hours that may include shift, weekends and holidays. * Ability to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime and respond to emergency call-ins. * Able to work both independently and as a part of the team. * Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen. * Wear required personal protective equipment. * Work in industrial conditions.
