Analyze and develop cost estimates and pricing recommendations for the North America NVH business. Responsibilities include calculating material, labor, overhead, tooling, and capital costs. Prepare cost analyses to determine the financial impact of engineering or design changes and support profitimprovement initiatives across assigned accounts.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop manufacturing cost estimates including material, labor, overhead, tooling, and equipment
Support commercial, engineering, and program finance activities
Review bills of material and validate cost accuracy
Collaborate with manufacturing plants and obtain sign-off
Analyze financial impact of changes
Interface with purchasing component quotes
Read and interpret engineering prints
Assist in pricing development and quote reviews
Conduct cost studies and sensitivity analyses
Support costsaving initiatives
Partner with VA/VE and improvement teams
Travel up to 15%
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business
3-5 years automotive experience
Manufacturing/process experience preferred
Knowledge of costing and accounting methods
Ability to read blueprints and estimate costs
Experience in manufacturing process development
Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively across the organization.
Advanced computer proficiency, including SAP and Excel.
