Join our dynamic team to engage in a variety of development projects from concept to launch. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will split your time between using Creo for development design work and solving problems related to design for manufacturability, ensuring products are ready for launch.
Responsibilities
Develop design work using Creo.
Collaborate with Program Managers to ensure timely and satisfactory project delivery.
Work alongside Manufacturing Engineers to ensure components are assembled as intended, troubleshoot issues, and make necessary design changes.
Engage with the purchasing team and suppliers, providing CAD data, models, and drawings.
Collaborate with the tool shop to create or modify tools.
Develop new plastic designs and work with the molding department to assess moldability.
Participate in testing, operating equipment as outlined to execute tests.
Support Neocon Projects by running tests and ensuring product manufacturability for launch.
Focus on design and tool modification for Demanded Projects.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in Creo and CAD.
5+ years of Mechanical Engineering experience.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
Understanding of design with manufacturing in mind.
Experience in plastic injection molding or die casting environments.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Formal or informal leadership experience, with cross-functional collaboration.
Experience in rough metal fabrication, including break forming, sheet metal, light welding operations, machining, mill, lathe, and CNC.
Proficiency in Solidworks.
Ability to direct work and share ideas with the team.
Work Environment
Work a standard 40-hour week from 8 AM to 5 PM, with a 1-hour lunch break, offering some flexibility in hours. You'll be part of a supportive team including a Project Manager, Engineers, and Project Engineer, with additional part-time support. Enjoy benefits like sick leave and holidays.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr.
