As a Warehouse Lead, you'll oversee warehouse staff, coordinate daily operations, and ensure that all materials and products are handled, stored, and shipped according to company standards. You'll be the go-to person for problem-solving and process improvements on the warehouse floor.
Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, and shipping
Lead, train, and mentor warehouse team members
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Monitor inventory accuracy and coordinate cycle counts
Coordinate with production and planning teams to prioritize shipments
Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness standards
Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed
Prepare shipping documentation and manage logistics coordination
Troubleshoot issues and implement process improvements
Leadership Experience: 2+ years in a warehouse supervisory or lead role
Warehouse Expertise: Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and shipping processes
Safety Focus: Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with team members and other departments
Problem-Solving: Quick thinking and practical solutions to operational challenges
Technical Skills: Proficiency with warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
3+ years of warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment
Forklift certification (or ability to obtain)
SAP or warehouse management system experience preferred
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
Strong organizational and time management skills
Physical Demands:
This position requires frequent walking, standing, lifting, and operation of warehouse equipment. Must be able to work in a manufacturing warehouse environment, sometimes in inclement weather, and consistently wear required PPE.
