Prepare hot-kitchen menu items for a Japanese and Korean restaurant under the direction of a senior cook/chef; measure and mix ingredients and prepare marinades, sauces, broths, and stocks according to standardized recipes; cook meats, seafood, rice, noodles, and vegetables using grill, sauté, broiler, steamer, and fryer stations; monitor cooking times and internal temperatures to ensure proper doneness and food safety; portion and plate dishes to specification; set up, stock, and break down hot line stations; maintain temperature logs, proper food storage, labeling, and rotation clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils in accordance with health and safety regulations; receive and store deliveries and assist with basic prep and inventory tasks as assigned.
Requirement: High school diploma or foreign equivalent.
