Job Summary
The Industrial Cleaner is responsible for performing cleaning and sanitation duties within production areas to maintain a safe, organized, and compliant work environment. This role supports operational efficiency by ensuring machinery, floors, and designated workspaces are properly cleaned using approved methods and materials. The Industrial Cleaner may mix chemical solutions and solvents as required and must follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
Job Responsibilities
Perform industrial cleaning of production and work areas
Clean floors, equipment, and designated surfaces using appropriate tools and materials
Mix and handle chemical solutions and solvents according to safety guidelines
Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures
Maintain compliance with safety and environmental standards
Identify and report safety hazards or maintenance concerns
Maintain cleanliness and organization of cleaning tools and equipment
Job Requirements
Previous industrial cleaning experience required
Ability to safely handle and mix cleaning chemicals and solvents
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean work environment
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Work Experience
Prior experience in industrial or production facility cleaning required
