The company is entering its next phase of growth and is seeking a dynamic President to lead strategy, expand market presence, and drive profitable, sustainable expansion.
President Position Summary
The President will serve as the organization's top executive leader, responsible for overall business performance, strategic direction, and long-term value creation. This individual will be a highly visible leader both internally and externally, with a primary focus on business development, strategic customer expansion, operational alignment, and financial performance. The ideal candidate is a proven construction industry executive who combines strong commercial instincts with deep financial acumen and the ability to build high-trust relationships with clients, partners, and employees.
President Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
Define and execute the company's long-term vision, growth strategy, and market positioning
Identify and pursue new market opportunities, service lines, and geographic expansion
Align operations, sales, finance, and project delivery to support strategic objectives
Build a high-performance leadership team and foster a culture of accountability and collaboration
Business Development & Customer Expansion
Serve as the primary face of the organization to key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders
Drive new business acquisition and deepen relationships with existing strategic accounts
Lead major pursuits, negotiations, and contract strategies for large or complex projects
Develop scalable processes for pipeline growth and customer retention
Expand share of wallet within existing clients through cross-selling and long-term partnerships
Financial Leadership & Performance
Own overall financial health, profitability, and enterprise value creation
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, capital allocation, and financial planning
Evaluate project economics, risk management, and return on investment
Drive margin improvement, cost discipline, and operational efficiency
Partner closely with finance leadership to ensure strong reporting, controls, and transparency
Operational Oversight
Ensure consistent execution excellence across all projects and business units
Champion safety, quality, and schedule performance as core organizational priorities
Implement scalable systems, processes, and metrics to support growth
Remove barriers and enable teams to deliver at a high level
Culture & Leadership
Inspire and develop leaders at all levels of the organization
Promote a culture of integrity, accountability, innovation, and client focus
Lead change initiatives and organizational transformation when needed
Maintain strong communication across the company and with external stakeholders

Requirements
Proven executive leadership experience within the construction industry (e.g., commercial, industrial, infrastructure, or specialty contracting) preferred
Demonstrated success driving business development, revenue growth, and strategic account expansion
Strong financial acumen with experience managing P& L responsibility and capital decisions
Track record of scaling organizations while maintaining operational excellence
Exceptional relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills
Bachelor's degree required; advanced business or technical degree preferred
