Job Summary:
The Senior Director of Administration oversees the strategy and execution of the administrative function. It works closely with geo leaders and centralized services leaders to drive change, quality, responsiveness and flexibility for the administrative function. This change needs to be aligned with the overall strategic imperatives, including the enhancement of current service offerings combined with streamlined and centralized processes. The objectives include support for growth and having a one firm - listening approach - listen first approach. The position collaborates with geographic and national leadership to drive operational efficiency, resource allocation, and compliance. The work associated with this position requires travel and is frequently performed at a BDO office.
Job Duties:
Leads all strategic initiatives for the administration department
Develops and maintains relationships with practice leaders, MMPs and MPs
Supports all business lines and other core business services teams
Ensures compliance with firm policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements including development of policies as needed
Monitors and reports on key performance indicators for administrative functions
Identifies opportunities for process improvement and drives implementation
Establishes strong rapport with leaders and peers throughout the organization
Other duties as required
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Evaluates the performance of direct reports and assists in the development of goals and objectives to enhance professional development
Collaborates with direct reports and key stakeholders to interview, hire, and terminate administrative employees
Ensures administrative team members are trained on all relevant software, processes, and resources
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree, required; major in Finance, Communications, Business Administration, preferred
Experience:
Fifteen (15) or more years of experience in administration or operations management, required
Ten (10) or more years of experience in a leadership role, required
Project management and professional services experience, required
License(s)/Certification(s):

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, required
Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, preferred

Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.
National Range: $125,000 - $175,000
Maryland Range: $125,000 - $175,000
NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $125,000 - $175,000
