Five (5) nursery workers are needed to work in Geauga County, Ohio, handling trees and shrubs. Duties include cultivating and clearing fields, removing weeds, planting field stock and liners, potting rooted cuttings, setting up irrigation systems for field and poly houses, pruning, trimming, fertilizing, and applying herbicides and insect/disease control treatments. Workers will also ball and burlap mature trees and shrubs for sale, fill holes with topsoil, and prepare fields for new crops. The job requires working outdoors in variable weather conditions and performing physically demanding tasks, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 50 pounds, as well as frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, squatting, climbing, and cleaning equipment and grounds. Workers must be available for the entire employment period, provide proof of legal authorization to work in the U.S. within 3 days of hire, and maintain a valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record (or obtain one within 2 weeks of hire). The workplace is drug-, alcohol-, and tobacco-free. Performance-based bonuses may be offered at the employer’s discretion.

Housing / Vivienda:
Employer provides free housing to workers who cannot reasonably return to their residence the same day. Workers are assigned separate sleeping rooms and bathroom facilities for male and female workers. Family housing is not provided.
