General Purpose and Scope of Position:
Therole of the Sales SupportSpecialistis tosupport theprocesses and functions of the sales team. The Sales SupportSpecialistwill work with sales staff inlocationstoscout fields, create maps inAgVerdict, input datalike recommendations and orders, andprovide-on farm support of grower'sequipment,as well asassistthe salesmanagers and representatives inother duties needed.

Key Personal Attributes Include:
Experienceutilizingagronomy technology
Advanced knowledge of building fertility programs based on field data
Basic knowledge of computers and software systems allowing data gathering and tracking on soils, crops, water management, pests and to help the growerdeterminehis specific precision needs
Basic knowledge of all equipmentutilizedin building a technology program
Possess leadership, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
Specific Responsibilities and Key Deliverables Include:
Support field scout, soil sampling, and pest reportingfor all assigned growers or fields
Accurately inputdata in an organized and systematic wayutilizingall systems withexpertise
Work closely with thelocationteams and growers to develop specific farm technology programs,demonstratingsite specifictechniques thatto increase crop production and/or improve crop management. This includes all segments of the Ag Verdict System, mapping, water management, fertility, record keeper, traceability, yield mapping, variable rate fertilizer applications
Provide demonstration of the value and profitability of technology at all levels, grower,locationanddistrict
Provide thelocationsdata to support the profitability of precision agriculture
Conduct training on all aspects of precision agriculture to thelocationteams
Make presentations on Technology to growers, branchteamsand Wilbur-Ellis management
Ensure open communication and data sharing and an ability to conveyappropriate senseof urgency withsales representatives, operations,and management as necessary
Build strong relationshipswith co-workers and grower customers
Launch the new Ag Verdict Technology system at all levels including all segments of the Ag Verdict System, mapping, water management, fertility, record keeper, traceability, yield mapping, variable rate fertilizer applications
Maintain a thorough agronomic and technical knowledge of proprietary products and services to support some customer complaints and work to resolve them
Other duties as assigned
Compensation and Benefits:
In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $45,400 - $60,610. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience.
This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and vacation, holidays, health, dental, vision, mental health, and retirement plan participation, including an employer contribution of up to 7% into your 401(k).
