Job Overview
We are currently looking for a Manual Welder to join our team in Holland, MI on 2nd & 3rd shift.
As a Manual Welder, you will:
Perform setups and manually weld to produce high quality welded components.
Required Qualifications
2 years of prior manufacturing experience
Prior MIG welding experience
Ability to obtain and maintain powered industrial truck (hilo) certification
Ability to lift/move products weighing up to 50 pounds
Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship
Ability to flex work schedule and overtime may be required including weekends and/or holidays per business demands
8th grade education
The ability to work in Holland, MI without relocation assistance
Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge of computerized welding equipment.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and use precision measuring equipment.
Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
Strong math aptitude.
Essential Functions
Sets up and calibrates all equipment, and adjusts welding parameters as required for proper operation.
Produces components according to schedule and/or direction. Performs welds for custom and/or multiple components according to blueprints. Follows and applies specific dimensions, applications and welding techniques utilizing various fixtures.
Performs first piece and other required inspections per engineering print specifications.
Performs preventive maintenance, changes welding tips, and cleans welding equipment.
Picks and moves materials, skids, and pinracks.
Rotates through department work centers based on business need.
Works overtime as needed.
Performs additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.
