Data Center Facility Senior Engineers are essential to driving data center growth and advancing liquid-to-chip solutions. As our facility engineering operations expand, the need for senior engineering expertise remains critical to providing technical leadership within the Data Center Operations Department. Our Cloud Data Centers are strategic assets, and we are seeking a senior technical leader with a strong background in change management, as well as experience in administering and maintaining mission-critical environments.
The primary focus of this role is to support the deployment of new capacity, represent operations during due diligence and design phases, and establish processes and standards for liquid-to-chip infrastructure. This position will also collaborate with colocation providers to ensure compliance with engineering specifications.
This role delivers crucial, ongoing engineering support-including corrective and preventive actions, large-scale events, and other engineering investigations. Filling this position is vital to upholding Oracle's standards for service delivery, compliance, and operational excellence across our expanding product lines.
Oracle's Data Center Facility Engineering team is seeking a senior engineer to provide technical support for data center operations. The successful candidate must be highly self-directed, able to travel to onsite locations, and possess strong experience in data center design and critical infrastructure operations. Exceptional customer focus and effective collaboration with internal data center teams and business partners are essential for this role.

Provides SME technical support for contract negotiations including generation and review of contracts, change orders and due diligence validation.
Directs the development of liquid to chip processes and establishing operational standards to deliver uptime requirements.
Serves as subject matter expect (SME) point of escalation and technical support for technical cooling implementations
Directs diagnostics, troubleshooting, and resolution of operational issues using electrical and mechanical skills.
Spearheads collaboration with design, facility engineering, and operations teams to validate designs, influence decision-making, and ensure tenant improvement works alignment with operations objectives.
Drives system controls, instrumentation, and alarms; to ensure continuous operation of technical cooling solutions.
Overseas support compliance with environmental, safety, and operational regulations.
Directs support for escalated complex technical issues, establishing best practices across the operations teams.
Develop and maintain operational standards, training programs, and knowledge-sharing systems for OCI's facility engineering operations.
Overseas root cause analysis (RCA) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborates with engineering, maintenance, and facility teams to ensure operational readiness and delivery of world class standards.
Acts as a senior engineering reviewer as needed and supports the Engineering Change Advisory Board (CAB) process, ensuring changes are assessed, approved, and implemented in alignment with operational risk and change management protocols.
Serves as a mentor by providing technical guidance, sharing best practices, and supporting the professional development of facility engineers.
Facility Engineering Skills:
Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering
15 years of experience in critical facility engineering working with operation and maintenance of building systems, uninterruptible power supply generators, cooling, building automation, and fire and life safety systems.
Thrives in a matrixed environment, self-directed, with strong experience in critical infrastructure operations.
Comfortable with ambiguity, takes ownership, and embraces growth.
Exceptional collaborator and partner.
Must be able to travel

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
