We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this Dental Lab Technician Trainee opportunity at NDX D.H. Baker in Traverse City, MI.
The regular hours for this position are from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.

General Description of Function:
- A Dental Lab Technician Trainee is a member of the dental laboratory team who will participate in training to become a responsible team member learning to fabricate dental restorations to the quality standards set forth by the company.
Outline of Training:
Understand and follow all safety procedures for all machinery in the laboratory
Learn dental terminology
Learn to read prescriptions and follow the client's instructions
All other duties as assigned
Skills and Abilities Required:
Excellent hand-eye coordination
Strong ability to read, listen, comprehend, retain and execute on written and verbal instructions
High level of organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize work
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
Computer skills required
Minimum Education and Experience Required:
- Preferred: High school diploma or GED equivalent

Hand-piece/instruments

Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
