Behavior Technician
Reports to: Clinical Services and Operations Manager and/or Lead BCBA
Job Summary:
Behavior Technicians are responsible for implementing daily programs selected by BCBA/BCaBA to be beneficial for the client receiving services. Behavior technicians are additionally responsible for reading and understanding the individualized treatment plans, behavior intervention plans, and other specific interventions for each client they service.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in a clinic-based
- Implement ABA treatment programs, in a variety of settings, as written and directed by the Clinical

- Collect data to monitor the progress and effectiveness of the individualized treatment plan utilizing data collection software. Communicate any issues with Clinical Supervisor in a timely fashion.
- Provide hands-on, direct care while following the principles of
- Adhere to all policies and procedures, including, but not limited to confidentiality and mandated reporting standards.
- Communicating clearly and effectively- both orally and written- with clients, families, and
- Provide regular written and verbal progress on treatment Review and implement consultation/supervision note recommendations.

- Consistent, regular, reliable attendance is critical for this role.
- Must be able to adequately utilize supervision time.

- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Must be able to observe and identify high risk/harmful situations with clients and staff members.
- Must be able to exchange accurate information.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to frequently walk, run, stoop, kneel, bend and position self, including to block clients from engaging in dangerous behaviors.
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must have excellent manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina.
- Must be able to operate computers and other relevant technology to log data pertaining to sessions.
- Must be able to frequently tolerate high noise volumes.
- Must be able to constantly assess the environment and physically adapt to possible crisis situations, including maneuvering/ manipulating objects within clients reach that could interfere with safety. (i.e., moving desks, chairs, playground equipment and small toys that could harm the client or others)
