Description
The Charter Township of Union is seeking energetic, team-oriented, and qualified applicants for the full-time position of Assessing/General Property Tax Specialist. This individual will assist with the assessing and taxation of both real and personal property, perform field inspections, and manage databases. As a key point of contact for the township, this role also involves providing excellent customer service by greeting guests, answering phone inquiries, and assisting residents with property-related questions.
Requirements
High school diploma; State Tax Commission MCAO Certification and Personal Property Examiners Certification; a minimum of two (2) years of related experience in an assessing/equalization office or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, certification, and experience; and a valid State of Michigan driver’s license.
