Job Description

Monitor project activities to ensure that instructions are followed, deadlines are met, and schedules are maintained year-round.
Establish and enforce operating procedures and work standards that will ensure adequate performance and personnel safety.
Direct and perform landscaping duties during all four seasons such as sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, digging, raking, sprinkler installation, installation of segmental concrete masonry wall units and snow removal projects in a timely manner.
Supervise the installation of sprinkler systems, calculating water pressure, or valve and pipe coverage needs.
Read blueprints and schedule work throughout the year for workers, depending on work priorities, crew or equipment availability, and weather conditions.
Help to gather snow season efficiency data via sales tracking and overhead costs.
Monitor weather and dispatch crews as needed for snow removal.
Oversee and perform snow and ice removal for our commercial and residential clients for both roadways and sidewalks.
Inventory supplies of tools, equipment, or materials to ensure that sufficient supplies are available, and items are in usable condition.
Maintain and make basic equipment repairs for both lawn and snow removal divisions.
Experience with trenchers, backhoes, skid steer equipment, snow equipment.
Escalate personnel-related activities to appropriate manager, such as hiring workers, evaluating staff performance, or taking disciplinary actions when performance problems occur.
Review work assignments to determine service, machine, or workforce requirements for jobs.
Tour customer complexes to ensure work has been properly executed and investigate customer complaints.

Additional Requirements

Valid driver’s license, 24 months of landscaping or related experience, Travel to various clients' worksites in the Oakland County area, for supervision, as needed
