General Summary
The Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst (Construction) is responsible for supporting Construction Segment leadership with financial analysis, budget/forecast, and capital planning.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Support the development of annual budgets and periodic forecasts for Construction business units.
Prepare detailed financial models, trend analysis, and variance explanations.
Maintain rolling forecasts and assist in continuous planning improvements.
Develop and manage inventory analysis tools, and follow up on inventory audit results
Generate monthly reporting packages, KPI dashboards, and business performance summaries.
Perform detailed margin, pricing, cost, and volume analyses to support operational decisions.
Conduct ad hoc financial modeling and scenario analysis as requested by segment or BU leadership.
Analysis and review of capital planning projects
Performs other duties as required

Job Specifications
Knowledge Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field preferred.
1-3 years of experience in FP&A, accounting, or financial analysis (construction/manufacturing preferred).
Experience with OneStream, Power BI, or other advanced analytics platforms is a plus.
Prior FP&A experience preferred
Knowledge of a budget and planning process
Working knowledge and understanding of accounting and finance practices
Working knowledge and proficiency in the use of computer and business-related software, including Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, and Outlook are required)
Skills and abilities
Proficiency in the use of the English language in reading, writing and speaking
Proficiency in the use of business math
Ability to maintain and safeguard confidential and sensitive information
Ability to successfully communicate with all organizational levels

Working Conditions
Working environment is favorable. Requires sitting at a desk for long periods of time. The use of a computer is essential. Hearing, seeing and talking are essential duties of the job. Travel domestically is required.
