Tekdelite LLC has an opening for the position of Business Analyst (Ref# BA23VM).
Work Location: Okemos, MI and relocation required to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.
Job Duties: Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs for systems/network infrastructure. Formulate systems to parallel overall business strategies. Identify new applications of technology to solve business problems to make the business more effective. Use industry standards (including legacy, core, and emerging technologies), business process mapping, and reengineering. Prepare solution options, risk identification, and financial analyses such as cost/benefit, ROI (Return on Investment), RFP (Request for Proposal), buy/build, etc. Write detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs. Prepare and document functional and technical specifications for reporting and data warehousing. Assist with business warehouse/intelligence support and enhancements. Assist in deployment and management of end-user reporting tools and platforms. Work with IT and business project teams to understand reporting and data warehousing requirements and propose solutions. Create solutions to automate the process of development activities including CI/CD (Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment). Analyze user stories from the JIRA dashboard based upon client requirements. Write documentation according to the user story requirements deliverables. Integrate DevOps tools to automate configuration management and deployment processes. Work closely with development teams to create and maintain CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless deployments and rapid feature delivery. Responsible for release management including implementation planning. Document and provide knowledge transfer to the rest of the enterprise reporting team for all solutions. Use of Azure, AWS, DevOps, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, GitLab, and JIRA.
Requirements: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field. Plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation including Systems Analyst, Systems/Network Administrator, or related experience. Position requires 1 year of experience with DevOps and CI/CD. 40hrs/week.
