KK Auto Parts LLC seeks an Accountant in Livonia, MI
- Reconcile account balances and bank statements, maintain general ledger, and prepare month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Review accounts payable, accounts receivable, and inventory count.
- Analyze discrepancies and recommend corrections, ensuring accuracy.
- Establish and maintain depreciation schedules for all company fixed assets.
- Calculate monthly depreciation expenses and ensure accurate posting to the general ledger.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements, ensuring they are accurate and comply with financial policies and regulations.
- Analyze financial data and create reports to be presented to management, providing insights and recommendations.
- Stay current with the latest industry trends and best practices to ensure that the company adheres to the necessary financial regulations.
- Assist in documenting and updating business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Develop financial and accounting reports to facilitate data-driven business decision-making.
Job requirements: Must have at least 1 year’ experience in:
- Account reconciliation
- General ledger management
- Month-end & year-end closing
- Accounts payable / receivable
- Inventory accounting
- Fixed asset accounting
- Depreciation schedules & expense posting
- Knowledge of GAAP/IFRS
- Internal controls & compliance
- Business process documentation
