The Opportunity
Reporting to the Manager, US Environmental Services, the EnvironmentalAnalystwill be responsible for developing and managing environmental programs and projects, includingcompliancereporting,waste & watersampling,permitting, assessing risks,planning,and implementing environmental projects and programs that ensure compliance with all federal and state environmental regulations, company policies,standards,andTC Energyprocedures.
The EnvironmentalAnalystwill support Corporate and Regional staff tosetpolicy and procedures contained within theregionalsite environmental management plan and provide compliance support to pipeline assets asrequired.
This positionprimarilysupports TC Energy Facilitiesand projectsthroughoutMichigan.
The office reporting location will beattheTroy Michigan Office, WoolfolkOffice.A company vehicle will be provided with the position.
What You'll Do
Maintain facility compliance with air, water, waste, remediation, wetlands, land use, and hazardous materialsregulations.
Manage and prepare environmental data and reports for submittal to local, state, and federal regulatory agencies;SARA Tier II, Hazardous Waste,etc.
Work with internal stakeholders, includingUSEnvironment,CorporateGovernance,ProjectManagement and Operationsstaff to ensurefacility,regional, business unit and corporategoals are adequately communicated and properlyimplemented.
Coordinatecorrective actions/work withinternal stakeholdersto ensure issues/concernsidentifiedduring routinesite visits, Environmental Facility Reviews (EFR's),Audits, compliance inspections,regulatory changes, or program/policychangesareadequately communicated andaddressed.
Identify, measure, monitor, and mitigate environmental risks and liabilities associated with TCEnergy'sassets; performing integrated risk assessments/Environmental Facility Reviewsto manage environmentalissues.
In coordination withinternal stakeholders, review and improve the current risk management model to betteridentifyand quantify TC Energy'senvironmentalrisks.
Quality control of reports and assessments of sampling work; assess results ofprevioussampling and remediation work and provide recommendation on go-forward plansrequiredto meet regulatory and company expectations;
Mentor,train,and direct TC Energypersonnel to ensure integrity of environmental data for the purpose of internal (e.g. scorecard) and externalreporting.
Manage and develop plans, permits, procedures for air quality, hazardous waste, spill prevention, storm water,wastewater, andasbestos.
Legislative Monitoring, gap analysis and risk assessment associated with new, proposed, orpromulgatedregulations;
Assistwith scheduling and participation inenvironmentalincident investigations, inspections, andaudits.
Prepare reports asneeded.
Activelyparticipatein jointCommunityAction Team (CAT)

Minimum Qualifications
An accredited Bachelors orMastersof Science or Arts degree in an environmental science, planning, engineering, or related curriculum desired;
Diverse knowledge in EnvironmentalRegulations.
Must have comprehensive knowledge ofClean Air Act,NPDES,SPCC andRCRA.
Must be able to multitask,maintainflexibility, travel and work independently with minimal supervision,
High levelof analytical ability to gather and evaluate complex information obtained from a variety of sources;
Strong verbal and written communication skills;
Ability to make decisions and present recommendations where only general policies and procedures are available, requiring application of judgment and independent action;
Ability to effectively interact at all levels of the organization and across all business functions;
Knowledge and understanding of emerging issues both internally and externally;
Strong skills inteam work, conflict resolution and problem solving;
A broad range of project management skills (planning, scheduling, budgeting and risk assessment, time management).
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum5years of combined applicable academic training,certification,and related work experience (certification or accreditation in an environmental or scientific discipline).

Have andmaintaina valid driver's license;
Provide a driver's abstract for review.
Travel to other company locations forfacilityenvironmentalsite support,emergency spill response,meetings,training,audits,and inspectionswhich would involve some overnight stays away from home.
This position will require travel acrossbordersand as such the candidate must be able to provide applicable documentation to thisaffect.
