Job Description
The E2E Principal Program Manager is accountable to end-to-end delivery of OCI data center capacity, from project inception to GPU handover. This role functions as the primary delivery integrator across OCI within a matrixed organization. The role is responsible for ensuring predictable, repeatable, and scalable delivery outcomes that support OCI region launches, capacity expansion, and long-term infrastructure roadmap commitments. This is a high- impact role that will lead, drive, and ensure the successful management and delivery of critical initiatives on our strategic roadmap. The role comes with a high degree of personal accountability and autonomy and will require effective engagement across all OCI partner teams including Site acquisition, WAN (Wide Area Network), Energy, Design, Engineering, Construction, Telecommunications, Commissioning, Security and Operations. Your ability to anticipate and mitigate risks will be crucial in maintaining project timelines and budgets.
Responsibilities
Be the end-to-end leader in charge of the program, from shaping the approach to achieving the desired outcomes through delivery.
Act as the single threaded leader orchestrating across matrixed OCI teams including Site Acquisition, Energy, WAN (Wide Area Network, Design, EHS, Legal, Finance, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, Telecommunications, Security, Operations.
Monitor and ensure function delivery milestones align with OCI capacity planning, regional launch timelines, and service availability commitments. Matrixed Program Orchestration
Project Planning: Develop and implement long-term strategies inclusive of campus master planning for data center construction and network build projects to align with organizational goals.
Project Management: Oversees the lifecycle of complex data center development projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Budget Oversight: Monitor project budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and adherence to financial constraints.
Risk Management: Identify and collate project function potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and costs.
Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns.
Regular project visits to ensure schedule and coordination will be required throughout the life of the project on an as needed basis.
Must have the ability to travel 25% and at time more. Work from home; remote opening.
Required Qualifications
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex challenges in a fast-paced environment.
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of data center design delivery, and operational requirements, with a focus on cutting-edge technologies and sustainability.
Project Management: Proven expertise in managing large-scale data center projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery including advanced project scheduling and tracking.
Leadership: Ability to lead a diverse team under pressure by creating clarity, generating energy and driving results. Maintain alignment and execution across organizations with shared accountability, influencing without direct authority.
Budget Management: Proficiency in creating, managing, and optimizing project budgets to ensure cost-effective use of resources.
Risk Management: Ability to identify potential risks and develop effective mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and costs.
Communication: Strong interpersonal and executive level communication and engagement skills
Experience: 8+ years of program management / datacenter construction or lease / network engineering experience
Self-motivated, ability to work in a flexible, fast-paced environment, within a matrixed organization
10+ years of experience delivering large-scale, complex infrastructure programs, preferably in hyperscale cloud, mission-critical facilities, or gigascale data center environments.
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related discipline or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience delivering cloud infrastructure capacity for a hyperscaler or global service provider.
Demonstrates deep subject matter expertise on key functional areas of mechanical, electrical, networking, construction, or building automation systems
PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification
MBA or equivalent advanced degree

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $120,100 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position.
