Job Title: Die Cast Supervisor
Job Description
As a Die Cast Supervisor, you will coordinate manpower, machines, and materials to maximize production efficiency. You will lead, mentor, and train employees while demonstrating strong communication and leadership skills. Your role will involve maintaining a clean and safe work environment through daily audits, safety leadership, and immediate action on hazards. Additionally, you will ensure adherence to Lean principles, 5S, standard work, and the quality management system.
Responsibilities
Monitor quality performance, contain defects, and drive toward zero defects and reduced scrap.
Track and improve production uptime and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) across all shifts; maintain SQDCM boards.
Plan and organize work to meet production schedules while optimizing labor and minimizing overtime.
Conduct routine evaluations, write work instructions, and provide thorough shift hand-off reports.
Supervise operations including die cast machines, secondary equipment, inspections, maintenance, and material handling.
Demonstrate strong accountability, safety focus, problem-solving using data, and flexibility to work varied shifts or extended hours.
