Job Summary
The IT Intern supports the Information Technology team with a variety of technologyrelated tasks, including technical research, system updates, documentation, basic troubleshooting, and general project coordination.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Assist with basic technical support tasks, such as responding to IT inquiries and routing requests to appropriate team members
Perform routine system administration tasks including data entry, updating records, and organizing digital documentation
Help prepare technical materials and presentations; maintain and update project documentation
Take notes during IT meetings; draft technical summaries, reports, and project updates
Support IT staff with general project activities, such as device setup, cable management, inventory organization, and light hardware handling
Assist in maintaining IT databases, asset records, and configuration information
Conduct research on technology solutions, tools, and industry best practices
Help coordinate and schedule project activities, system deployments, or training sessions
Participate in company or IT team events, training sessions, and crossdepartment collaboration
Shadow IT professionals across various roles to gain exposure to multiple technology functions
Qualifications
Basic working knowledge of computers, operating systems, and common business productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook)
Familiarity with general office and IT equipment (computers, printers, scanners, etc.)
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new technologies and processes
