Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Pipefitter Leader to lead and support the installation of piping systems for automated assembly and weld systems. This role is hands-on while also providing leadership, coordination, and technical guidance to pipefitting teams throughout the build process.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and support pipefitters in planning and installing piping, fixtures, and equipment

Oversee automated assembly and weld systems from build through installation

Read, interpret, and mark up blueprints, specifications, and job orders

Inspect piping and fixtures to ensure compliance with company and customer specifications

Coordinate build schedules and assist with labor hour estimates

Assign tasks, adjust work procedures, and resolve job-related issues

Enforce safety, quality, and environmental standards

Communicate design changes back to controls/design teams using proper documentation

Assist with material tracking and follow-up as needed

Participate in team meetings and continuous improvement efforts

Perform hands-on pipefitting work alongside the team when required
Leadership Responsibilities

Lead teams of 10–50 employees

Plan, assign, and direct daily work activities

Support productivity, quality, and safety goals

Troubleshoot and resolve technical and workflow challenges
Qualifications
-
Associate degree or 7+ years of related pipefitting experience, or equivalent combination

Strong experience in machine tool and automation environments

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and procedures

Comfortable leading crews in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
Certifications (Preferred / Required)
Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work on the shop floor

Lift up to 25 lbs occasionally

Comfortable working around machinery and industrial equipment
