Responsibilities
The Logistics Operations Specialist will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Maintaining customer profile information and entering loads from customer tenders into the Freight Optimizer system
Updating account managers on problem loads and actions taken, communicating load status to receivers and customers
Monitoring daily pick-ups and deliveries to ensure that loads arrive on time and in good condition
Taking check calls from drivers to confirm on-time delivery and validating all load data prior to marking loads delivered for accounting purposes
Investigating product overages, shortages, and damages, and completing appropriate documentation
Scheduling and rescheduling delivery appointments for all loads
Accepting or declining loads based on direction from account managers
Providing detailed directions and instructions to ensure proper route for drivers
Qualifications
Required Skills / Experience:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Problem-solving skills with the ability to escalate issues appropriately
Basic computer and data entry proficiency
Desired Skills / Experience:
Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or freight coordination
Familiarity with Transportation Management Systems (TMS), such as Freight Optimizer
Experience working with drivers, customers, and account managers

Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
