Position Description
Ford is embarking on a journey to transform and modernize treasury tools and processes to reduce complexity and accelerate sustained Fitness for Ford. A key enabler of this transformation is delivering modern, best-in-class solutions that support Ford+ objectives.
In this role, you will collaborate with System Integrators to design, build, and configure SAP Treasury and Risk Management (TRM) on the IERP landscape to meet business processes and requirements. You will engage directly with customers to define processes, write and validate functional specifications, and deliver complex solutions. You will ensure timely, cost-effective, and successful SAP implementations, including performing SIT, UAT, load and performance testing, launch activities, and on-site hyper care support.
Responsibilities
- Partner with System Integrators to gather, analyze, and understand business requirements to successfully design and implement SAP TRM solutions.
- Participate in the full project lifecycle including fit-gap analysis, configuration, documentation, training, deployment, and hyper-care support.
- Configure and customize SAP TRM modules based on customer specifications, aligning solutions with industry best practices.
- Collaborate with System Integrators on enhancements, interfaces, reports, data conversions, and workflows.
- Identify and manage dependencies with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP TRM with external systems such as trading platforms and external vendors, ensuring seamless data flow.
- Implement Treasury functionality (TRM – Debt, Fixed Income) and provide recommendations for process improvements and optimizations.
- Participate in technical architecture discussions involving business capabilities, technical functionality, and integration.
- Leverage Agile processes, culture, best practices, and techniques to deliver solutions effectively.
- Align technical team capacity with business priorities, user feedback, and technical feasibility.
- Identify and mitigate risks and issues before they materialize.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues within SLA guidelines.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document functional and non-functional requirements for comprehensive business understanding.
- Maintain Rally, create user stories, and build requirement/specification artifacts; communicate status updates effectively to all stakeholders.
- Conduct and support SAP platform testing including functional, security, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Work with cross-functional teams to prepare and stage production builds, ensuring releases meet technical and business expectations.
- Lead and support PDO Release Management activities including cutover, data profiling, extraction, cleansing, and launch.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in technology, computer science, information systems, or a related field
- 7–10+ years of experience configuring SAP TRM or another SAP module
- 10+ years of FICO functional and configuration experience (preferred)
- Experience with application delivery using test-driven development, iterative methodologies, and Agile principles
- Experience creating functional and technical systems documentation
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality outputs on time
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
