We are looking for material handlers for an ISO 9001-2015 certified company that has been in business since 1954.
We are looking for dependable material handlers and hi-lo drivers that are looking to establish their careers and even advance up in the company over time.
Responsibilities:
Accurately pull material from storage and transport to machines
Transfer material from machines to scales and/or storage area
Load or unload semi-trucks
Follow established handling procedures to prevent damage
Notify supervisor of material shortages and/or damages
Maintain safe arrangement and organization of storage areas
Follow all safety requirements and policies and report unsafe conditions to supervisor
Perform daily Hi-Lo inspection and documentation
Experience:
High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) preferred
Previous manufacturing experience helpful
Must have at least 1 year of Stand-Up Forklift/Hi-Lo experience
Sit-Down Forklift/Hi-Lo experience helpful
Able to successfully pass Hi-Lo test
Compensation and Benefits:
$500 signing bonus, payable after 90 days of employment.
Once hired into the Dexter company, employees will receive health benfits effective for full time employees.
Incremental increases are available after periodic reviews.
Schedules can vary. First shift is currently working 7:00am to 4:30pm
Pay: $20.30 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 45 – 50 per week
