Job Description
Join our team as a General Production Worker where you will play a crucial role in the assembly and disassembly of engines for the automotive industry. This position offers a dynamic and fast-paced environment, ideal for individuals who thrive in an operational setting. You will be working with materials and handling equipment, contributing to the efficient movement and shipment of engine components.
Responsibilities
Assemble and disassemble engines, ensuring all components are correctly placed and secured.
Apply coolant and perform leak tests on engine components to ensure quality and efficiency.
Operate forklifts, tuggers, and cherry pickers to transport engines within the warehouse.
Handle materials efficiently, ensuring timely shipping of engines to designated locations.
Essential Skills
2+ years of experience in a production or warehouse environment.
1+ years of experience in machine operation and/or forklift/Hi-Lo operation.
High School Diploma or GED.

Work Environment
The work environment is fast-paced and involves working with cutting-edge technology in engine assembly and logistics. You will be part of a team that values safety and efficiency, with a structured shift schedule: 1st Shift (6:30 AM - 2:42 PM), 2nd Shift (2:30 PM - 10:42 PM), and 3rd Shift (10:30 PM - 6:42 AM). The facility operates with five stations dedicated to various automotive brands, providing a comprehensive experience in production and logistics.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Holt, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $18.25/hr.
