Aging is an inevitable natural process that impacts quality of life and increase the risk of cardiovascular diseases. In the Rocha lab we use animal and human induced pluripotent stem cell (hiPSC)-derived cardiovascular models to understand how aging impact cardiovascular function. If you are highly motivated, passionate for science and want to work with aging, come join Dr. Rocha?s lab and take part of a new and exciting research program to find new ways to mitigate the impacts of aging on the cardiovascular system.
