About the Role ATOMTECH is seeking a Mechatronics Technician to support, maintain, and troubleshoot advanced automation systems. This role involves hands-on work with electrical, mechanical, PLC, robotics, and autonomous vehicle technologies. You’ll play a key part in ensuring high-performance equipment runs safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime.
Responsibilities
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on automated and robotic systems
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system issues
• Maintain and repair material-handling equipment and facility racking
• Complete maintenance documentation, inspections, and compliance tasks
• Install and service motors, sensors, relays, solenoids, and motor starters
• Assist with PLC and electronics troubleshooting
• Support continuous improvement efforts related to system reliability
• Manage and track tools, spare parts, and component inventory
• Collaborate with operations teams to resolve equipment concerns
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior technicians as needed
