Successful candidates must have three years of experience as a Sales Engineer or substantially similar position performing the following: provide sales strategy and sales engineering for the manufacture of steel and aluminum-based chassis, door beams and bumpers and crossmembers automotive components. Utilize engineering knowledge to determine engineering cost feasibility for customer orders. Prepare necessary account, pricing, and sales data for sales planning for technical automotive component products. Develop and make design proposals based on feasibility studies. Create project budgets and KPls to ensure that project budgets target and goals are met. Utilize the following to ensure feasibility and profitability of the development and manufacture of automotive components: Process “Acquire & Quote’ / Process “Develop & Launch”, VAVE (Value Analysis and Value Engineering), continuous improvement and optimization of processes, Team Center Product Cost Management, SAP, APQP, GD&T, 8D, PFMEA, MS Project, DOE, Six Sigma, AutoCAD, and Solid works.
