Responsibilities:
Ensure safety rules are followed - facilitated through monthly safety talks, daily tool box talks, safety inspections and random supervisor audits
Ensures proper personal protective equipment is worn
Ensure regulatory requirements are met with regards to chemical disposal, proper PPE when handling chemicals
Daily product testing and verification of product inventory to meet customer requirements
Fulfill customer requests - additional analysis, samples to be sent out
Process Testing (ie., stone samples)
Coordination of lab testing equipment maintenance and calibration. Calibration and cleaning of laboratory equipment
Basic Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED; Associates Degree is preferred
1+ years of laboratory experience in an industrial manufacturing environment; Chemical background is a plus
Computer proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and ability to learn SAP
Prior experience in, or knowledge of, ISO is preferred
Strong math and organizational skills along with ability to meet deadlines; ability to read and interpret technical procedures
Willing and able to work shifts and weekends
Prior experience demonstrating effective management skills, knowledge of continuous manufacturing sector
Statistical knowledge in chemistry & physics understanding
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently while also operating in a team environment with friendly, proactive and assertive nature
High level of integrity motivation
Must be punctual and able to meet deadlines
Fluency in oral and written English
Valid driver's license

Annual Base Salary range of $40,000 - $45,000
