Job Title: Welder Job Description
We are seeking skilled welders for our team. You will be responsible for fabricating various sheet metal products, utilizing drawings, instructions, and company guidelines. This role requires expertise in operating welding equipment and working with different metal types.
Responsibilities
Operate welding equipment to work with carbon steel in various thicknesses, including horizontal and vertical positions. Stainless steel and aluminum welding is also required as needed.
Demonstrate proficiency in TIG and wire welding.
Visualize finished products through print reading.
Perform finish grinding on welded sheet metal using a hand grinder, ensuring cosmetically adequate welded/ground corners.
Repair improperly welded pieces and fill holes as necessary.
Essential Skills
Professional welding experience, preferably not limited to garage welding.
Proficiency in MIG/TIG welding on steel, stainless steel, and sheet metal.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Experience in sheet metal fabrication and grinding.

Work Environment
Enjoy a clean, safe, and well-lit environment with good air quality. Work hours are Monday through Friday with a 30-minute unpaid break and a 15-minute paid break. First shift operates from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with potential for extended hours. Saturday shifts from 5:00 am to 10:00 am are scheduled on a rotating basis. Second shift offers a $2.00 per hour shift premium, running from 4:00 pm to 12:30 am, with a possibility to extend to 2:30 am. New second shift employees will train on the first shift for 1-4 weeks.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
