oThe IT SAP Functional - Sales & Distribution (SD) plays a key role in supporting the implementation, configuration, and optimization of SAP solutions that meet business requirements.
oThe IT SAP Functional - Sales & Distribution (SD) will work closely with business users and technical teams to translate functional needs into effective SAP system solutions and ensure smooth system operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Distribution
oLead and design SAP S/4HANA SD solutions aligned with business requirements
oDrive end-to-end Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes in S/4HANA
oConfigure and optimize:
oOrganizational structures
oCustomer and Business Partner master data
oSales documents, deliveries, billing, and returns
oPricing, condition techniques, and output management
oManage S/4HANA-specific innovations:
oBusiness Partner approach
oSAP Fiori apps for SD processes
oHandle advanced topics:
oCredit Management (FSCM)
oRevenue Recognition
oIntercompany and third-party sales
oOrder to Cash processes
oPricing and conditions techniques
oBilling and FI integration
oLead integration with FI (Universal Journal), MM, EWM, and PP
Implementation & Support
oGather and analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP functional specifications
oConfigure SAP modules according to business processes and best practices
oSupport SAP implementations, enhancements, and rollouts
oWork with technical teams (ABAP, Basis, Integration) to deliver functional solutions
oPrepare and maintain functional documentation, including process flows and configuration guides
oParticipating in testing activities (unit testing, integration testing, UAT)
oIdentify and resolve functional issues and provide ongoing application support
oAssist in user training, change management, and knowledge transfer
oEnsure solutions comply with internal controls and system standards
oSupport continuous improvement initiatives and system optimization
Required Qualifications:
oBachelor's degree in IT, business, or related field
o7+ years of SAP experience with a strong focus on SAP SD
oHands-on experience in SAP SD configuration
oStrong functional knowledge of order-to-cash processes
oExperience with SAP IBP modules and planning concepts
oKnowledge of integration between SAP IBP and S/4HANA/ECC
oGood understanding of master data dependencies and data quality
oStrong analytical and problem-solving skills
oExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
oSAP S/4HANA SD certification
oExperience with Central Credit Management (FSCM)
oExposure to SD-EWM integration
oExperience in data migration (CVI, SD master data)
oExperience in SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration projects
oExposure to SAP Fiori, reports, and interfaces
oExperience in global or multi-company SAP environments
oIndustry experience: Automotive Supplier and/or Automotive Manufacturing

Work Environment:
oIn the Ann Arbor office or other company facilities.
