oThe IT Senior SAP Functional - Digital Manufacturing (DM) plays a key role in leading the design, configuration, and optimization of SAP solutions that support critical business processes
oThe IT Senior SAP Functional - Digital Manufacturing (DM) requires strong functional expertise, stakeholder management skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into effective SAP system solutions.
oThe IT Senior SAP Functional will play a key role in implementations, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives, including SAP S/4HANA projects.
Key Responsibilities:
SAP PP (Production Planning)
oConfigure and support SAP PP, including:
oMaster Data (Material Master, BOMs, Work Centers, Routings)
oDemand Management & MRP
oProduction & Process Orders
oCapacity Planning and Long-Term Planning (LTP)
oSupport production order lifecycle: creation, release, confirmation, and settlement
oIntegrate SAP PP with MM, SD, QM, CO, WM/EWM
SAP Digital Manufacturing (SAP DM)
oImplement and support SAP Digital Manufacturing (DM / DMC) for shop-floor execution
oConfigure Production Processes, Operations, and Resources in SAP DM
oEnable real-time data capture for:
oProduction confirmations
oQuality inspections
oScrap and rework
oMachine and operator activities
oIntegrate SAP DM with SAP S/4HANA PP, EWM, and QM
oSupport APIs, event-based integration, and message handling between SAP DM and S/4HANA
oTroubleshoot shop-floor execution issues and support manufacturing users
Implementation & Support
oLead end-to-end SAP Digital Manufacturing (DM) functional activities, including requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment
oAct as a subject matter expert for SAP Digital Manufacturing (DM) modules
oCollaborate with business stakeholders to analyze processes and recommend best-practice SAP solutions
oConfigure SAP systems to meet business requirements and ensure alignment with organizational goals
oPrepare and maintain functional specifications, process documentation, and configuration documents
oSupport SAP S/4HANA implementations, rollouts, upgrades, and migrations
oCoordinate with SAP technical teams (ABAP, Basis, Integration) to ensure seamless solution delivery
oLead and support testing activities (unit, integration, UAT) and resolve defects
oProvide post-go-live support, issue resolution, and continuous system improvements
oMentor junior consultants and contribute to knowledge sharing and best practices
oSupport change management, user training, and documentation efforts
oSupport or participate in SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations or migrations
oWork with Universal Journal (ACDOCA) and Fiori applications
oAssist in data migration and system conversion activities
S/4HANA & Cloud (Preferred)
oExperience with SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing
oUnderstanding of BTP-based integrations for SAP DM
oFamiliarity with Fiori apps for manufacturing and planning
oBasic knowledge of PP/DS or Advanced Planning is a plus
Required Qualifications:
oBachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, or IT
o10+ years of hands-on SAP PP and DM experience
o2+ years of hands-on SAP Digital Manufacturing experience
oStrong understanding of manufacturing execution and shop-floor processes
oExperience integrating SAP PP with SAP DM
oKnowledge of discrete or process manufacturing environments
oUnderstanding of SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA tables, data flows, and reporting
oProven experience in full lifecycle SAP implementations
oAbility to lead workshops and communicate effectively with business and technical teams
oStrong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
oExperience working with cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications:
oSAP PP and/or SAP Digital Manufacturing certification
oExperience with SAP ME/MII migration to SAP DM
oExposure to SAP BTP, APIs, and event-driven architecture
oExperience with EWM-DM integration
oSAP Global Implementation experience
oExperience in at least one full lifecycle SAP implementation
oIndustry experience: Automotive Supplier and/or Automotive Manufacturing
oSAP Global Implementation experience

Work Environment:
oIn the Ann Arbor office or other company facilities.
